Using the Mobile App to Convert Submitted Resident Self-Reports into Residential Damage Assessment Forms
As a result of Resident Self-Reports being submitted from outside of the system via a URL link, they will appear in the "Entries Without a Task" folder in the Tasks module on the desktop console. Therefore, they must first be assigned to a task and team on the desktop console In order to allow mobile app users access to these reports for follow-up.
Once the Resident Self-Reports have been moved to a task that is assigned to a team, mobile app users can view the Resident Self-Reports. Mobile app users can also convert them to follow-up Residential Damage assessments in two ways:
Method 1 - Copy the Resident Self-Report into a Residential Damage Form
*This will allow you to keep a record of the initial Resident Self-Report, in addition to transferring all of the info into the Residential form.
Mobile app users can convert the Resident Self-Report using a Copy feature to transfer the information to a Residential Damage form. Any information from the Resident Self-Report will populate into the Residential Damage form. Any assessment information conducted at follow-up can be added to that same Residential Damage form.
For iOS Devices:
By opening the incident --> selecting Collect Data --> selecting their resident self-report validation team --> selecting their resident self-report validation task --> clicking Start --> on the screen with the list of Entries, clicking on the Edit button near the top center of the page --> selecting Copy on the Resident-Self Report Entry --> selecting the Residential form from the dropdown list--> selecting Copy in the top right corner of the screen to confirm the choice.
For Android Devices:
By opening the incident --> selecting Collect Data --> selecting their resident self-report validation team --> selecting their resident self-report validation task --> clicking Start --> on the screen with the list of Entries, clicking on the three vertical dots menu on a Resident Self-Report entry --> selecting Copy --> selecting the Residential form from the list--> selecting Copy Entry at the top of the screen to confirm the choice.
Method 2 - Change the Resident Self-Report into a Residential Damage Form
*This will not retain a copy of the original Resident Self-Report and instead will simply transfer the submitted information to the Residential form.
For both iOS and Android Devices:
If the preference is not to copy the Resident Self-Report into the Residential Damage form (as a way of maintaining a copy of the original Resident Self-Report in addition to having the assessment version), users can simply change the Resident Self-Report into a Residential Damage form.
By opening the incident --> selecting Collect Data --> selecting their resident self-report validation team --> selecting their resident self-report validation task --> clicking Start --> on the screen with the list of Entries, opening a Resident Self-Report entry --> clicking on the blue "Resident Self-Report" link at the top of the page --> selecting the Residential form from the list--> completing Residential Damage assessment info --> clicking Save to upload the validated information
